How wet was it ? I would have thought just crumble the groundbait up and 1 hr later your in business

I’ve microwaved and crumbled if I have left things a bit late. Both worked ok.

if it’s in a plastic bag put it in a bucket of cold water.
works for frozen solid pike deadbaits in freezing conditions in the margins.

next time grate on your riddle when you load up. Bag it or leave it in the bucket if you can, it’ll thaw in an hour or so.

I am not a match man but I get up at about 8 o’clock and start fishing at about 9.30 – 10.00 o’clock and my frozen groundbait is nearly always unfrozen by then naturally.

I have defrosted gb in microve before on a low setting – no problems.

                      TF_D.W.

stick it in the footwell of your car in a bucket with the heater on (which it probably would be anyway this time of year) & it will be defrosted in no time.
