        Hi all,
I wish to convert some top kits into side pulla kits.
I will not be attemping this myself.
Has anyone had any proffessionally done and if so what are your recommendations and can you post the contact details please?
What are the options (straight bush/ oval bush reinforcing etc) and how much did you pay per kit.
        Thanks in advance.
        Gerry.

I’ve just found out some anglers use 2 side bushes on their top kits, with the elasic running externally for a short distance.
Can anyone explain the reason/possible advantage in this set up??
As far as I can see it would take longer to pull the elastic through…/ tighten the elastic with this arrangement.
Also, thanks CRAIGM for the link to your site.

Hi,total 21,dont get me wrong im not an expert, but i think the reason is so that the elastic can be threaded back through the bottom bush into the bottom of the pole and stored on a winder bung as you would do with an ordinary set up.This would allow you to adjust the tension and also let more elastic through when the top few inches of elastic get worn nr connection to stonflo or dacron. If you check out the new Daiwa interlastic top kits this is the same idea as you describe.Hope this helps.

I can do the pull kit conversions for you.just specify whether you want 2 holes or 1 mark the position of the hole on your top kit and i will wrap the section with prepreg plain weave carbon and then drill and bush the hole or holes.just make sure you mark up the position that suits you as every one is different.my contact number is 07946426675.
