        Big Thank you and well done to Nigel Harrhy.

        Just returned from this years excellently run Christmas match at Barston lakes.

        Great attendance and well organised, everyone received a prize for place in the fur and feather. (some sooner than others)

        Must say, very nice turkey dinner for all participants.

            Cheers Lads, glad you enjoyed it. Andy ‘snowy’ Ashington won with 86lb from peg 20.

            I am surprised only 3 came from the websites.

            I know it clashed with Meadowlands and Makins, but i am also surprised they dont work around the fisheries xmas matches, i put a lot of effort into running it, all get prizes, and all get xmas dinner and pudding too this year.

            But we did have 50 yesterday, and ever other peg on the whole lake made for good fishing, at least it wasent frozen over like it was the last 2 years!
