  I am looking to buy a new top end top and am awaiting a review of the new Z12 and the One from Preston. Any ideas when we can expect to see a review and when these poles will hit the market? Anyone had a proper fish with either?

  The Z12 has been field tested at Colemans Cottage over the last months.
  Mark Sawyer was in Germany about a month ago, playing around with it. But he didnt fish with it. A review will probably be out next month.
  The pole should be available from December.
  An interesting bonus feature with the Z12 is the customer can specify which top kits he would like with the package. Nine in total for the 16m pack and Eleven with the 17.5m Pro Pack.
  You can choose from six types.
  Four types of Single Length Kits and Two SLK Puller Kits.
  They are all the same length, so no cutting back, and are already internally bushed.
  The difference is the diameter of the no1 section.

  newest preston pole is the one xs,
  the top kits for this pole are better priced compared to previous preston top of the range models.

  Zinky is still alive and posts on here very occasionally. As you know the junior member thing applies to the number of posts you have made. If you are as old as Zinky though, very senior member would be much more appropriate.
