Fishing up north

  I had to go up North the other day ( hate the place its full of fat mancs and scousers )
  
  Anyway it looks like I will have to spend a fair bit of time up there with the gravy drinking pigs, whats the fishing tend to be like around Manc land ? what are the best fisheries ?

  Yorkshire born and bred, but have lived in the south for nearly 10 years. When I am in London, people call me a northern monkey. When I am back home in Yorkshire, people call me a southern softy. You just can’t win…!
  
  Loads of good fishing around Manc (and most of it much cheaper than down here)! I will defer to the local experts though to put you on to specific venues…

  I could buy a small town up North for the cost a pint in London !!
  
  The good thing about being in Manchester is there are less Man utd fans than in London !
  
  I like the look of Lindholme but its the other side, not sure my passport is up to date.
