good start for me! won my local with 17lb!

Oddman, you’ve got to be ON fish at the moment on Covey. If you’re not on a ball of fish you’ll only a few (or none). I only weighed 10.06 on Sun, section was won with 11lb, yet further round the lake there was a big 30 and a 40+.
I was 3rd on Thursdays 60 peg pairs match with 26lb, so a lot of people are struggling mate.

My first session of the year was yesterday and it was a good’un 😀

25lb of roach and a couple of bream and skimmers for another 5lb. I had a roach of 1lb 8oz and a 2lb 8oz roach, new pb 🙂

covey 1 at that top end is crap when its good should know drawn there loads of time
was going to go today but went to church gardens in bolton and had 100 skimmers for 42 lb and a win excellent fishing .going to partridge 2moro got the day off hopefully not to many on and only the good pegs in

Mt first session was on New Year’s Day on the Great Ouse at Deanshanger fishing all out for a personal best chub… which never came. No bites, other than from crayfish. My concern is that the otters may have had all the big fish as happened to another syndicate I was a member of a few years ago. Great to be out on the bank tho.

1st jan, 9lb 11oz of roach on the punch, Stainy at Thorne, very enjoyable, it would have been better if it was not for a couple of pike strikes
