        This was a very close match with 18 of the anglers all having over 45lb the Milder weather has brought the carp into a feeding frenzy for the winter months .

        The trout lake
        The trout lake has had 44 fishermen for a catch of 235 fish 23 over the 10lb mark with a catch rate of 5.3 fish per angler .
        Buzzers on a washing line with a 10-12 foot leader is the best method with fluro and black and red buzzers the best flies .
        Cats whisker,damsons ,montana and the blood worm replicas are all flies catching well .

        Dave Hudson had a total of 11 fish with a 7lb rainbow in a 2 hr frenzy all caugh on the dreaded washing line method ,a stocking of fish to replace the ones removed will be on weds this week
