Second session of the year on the Great Ouse in an effort to beat my chub PB of 5lb 4oz…. produced this lovely chub of 5lb on the dot to good old fashioned home made cheese paste…

Sadly the camera broke and just got this on my phone….

Got a real buzz from catching a big chub like this which is my third biggest after fish of 5lb 4oz on the Upper Welland and the Dorset Stour….

Also lost another one at the net which was a bit smaller….

My target is a 6lb chub this season… on traditional methods….
