TF_squattI’ve recently been using Browning King feeders for big chucks and for fishing in France and the Netherlands. I also use the XL specialist cage feeders up to 120grams when abroad. The trouble most shops won’t stock Browning gear. Buying more feeders, a trade pack of 30, or hollow quiver tips has become a real problem until now. One call to West Wales Angling after seeing an advert and Pete Edwards rang Browning to check availability, returned my call and the stuff was ordered Monday and it will be with me on Friday. Top man and great service.

TF_squattThey have some great fit for purpose gear. Who from Browning is pushing the gear in the UK. Someone should be out there changing tackle shop perceptions of a company that has changed. Come on the UK is your lobster.

TF_Big FinnParticipantLobster……lol
In the UK we currently have 4 Reps, the issue is trying to get the shops buying all our products, with regards to Feeders, you look how many different types of feeders our out now…..Its swamped with them and if there nothing different its very hard to push the shops to stock them. We have the Window Feeder which sells very well but the others are pretty much a muchness.

TF_squatt‘The world is your lobster’ was a quote from Dell boy in Only Fools and Horses.
Big Finn I beg to differ the Browning Specialist feeder should stand out. They are made from Stainless steel with the cage and securing/attaching hoop moulded into the lead. No moving parts so wont let you down and in the XL size range from 40-120gram – extreme feeders. A bit different to another company that sell immitation ‘extreme’ feeders that rust, bend or the lead that is clipped on parts with the feeder on the first retrieve and you are just left the rubber hoop. Mind you why worry they only rust like I say if you are lucky/unlucky enough to hold on to them!!!!

AnonymousI have the CC990 a lovely pole, especially for silver fish on natural venues; but would I buy another Browning pole?- NEVER – not given their appalling attitude to after sales customer service.

Lets hope they’ve now sorted themselves, because some of the stuff they sold 3-4 years ago was in my opinion Rubbish and had put me off buying from them.

TF_dirkdigglerThe only item of Browning gear i’ve owned was a 13 ft King Feeder.
Nice rod but i snapped one of the tips first time out then had the devils own job trying to get a replacement.
I eventually got frustrated and bored and sold it on eBay getting dicked into the bargain selling it for £50 as no-one else seems to want them either.
i’ll not be buying owt else. -
