        are these completley new rods or spectrons with new graphics and how good are they? im looking for a couple of new rods and stuck betwween these and tournaments.

          Go for the tournaments, you’ll wish you had if you don’t I think.

          As for the new connoisseurs, have had a waggle with a couple and thought they didn’t have that wow factor next to a tourny.

            What length you after? I love the Tournaments at 10ft but 11 is too bendy and 12, 13 too stiff for most situations in my opinion.

              i was looking at getting a 10/11 and 12/13,to replace the numorous rods i already have and to upgrade basically,,although i think daiwa may just upgrade the tournament range for next year since they seem to have gone through everything else

                Well, as I said, I love the 10ft Tournament for all close in carping with method, bomb etc but for a longer rod I much prefer the old Connoisseur X 11ft6 and Z 12ft. Also got several 11,13fts but they don’t see much use nowadays although they are good at 11ft for medium range and 13ft for really long. Often some on Ebay and better than the new rods, I’m convinced! 😮 🙂
