I would like to purchase a river or preston dutch master dutch master tip but I know well these cannea. Here in Italy they are not easily and does not know hardly anyone. I would like to know from someone who might be better for me if the 13 ‘8 “80 grams or 13’ 8” 100 grams or the moon or the River 12 ‘8 “80 grams or 13 8”.
Generally I fish in the river Arno, 60m wide with 50 feeders of 30 to 70 gr. I try to catch fish that are mid-sized barbs (2/3KG) or Carp (4/8KG) I want a rod with a progressive parabolic action. Also the practical drift fishing. The River has a lot more action ‘vloce of classic dutch master is. The Dutch Masters are fitted with tip of glass fiber or carbon?

Buy a 13ft/3.96m Browning King Feeder (cw100grams). You get a good selection of quiver tips. Spares are easily available and you can choose from solid or hollow carbon. The action on these rods is very progressive and will easily cope with the casting distances and fish you mention.

I have 2 x13’8 ‘s and they are brilliant for casting 60 gram bullet and river feeders across most big rivers and canals. Tips are carbon.
There are larger and stronger rods in the Preston range and i have friends who use them for Barbel fishing.
Excellent choice but the size and strength is upto you ?

You have the version 80 gr or 100 gr??

Perhaps the river with rope avon dutch master are more ‘powerful’?: But the master dutcht river 13 ‘8 “has a good game with the fish?

I would need 90 grams max casting although generally final and peach with 50 g of 6-8 lbs. The distance to run and ‘at about 60-70 meters

                  100gram…
I would definately go for the 13’8 but if you are unsure then take the largest to cover all situations …..The 14′ 2” at 100 or 130 or 160 !!! grams ……TAKE ONE ROD OF EACH AS THEY ARE ALL SUPERB 🙂
