            What do you reckon? It’s a Rainbow, so has it been washed out of somewhere else during the floods and got larger over time? What ever the reason for it being in the Thames, there is no way on this earth that i would have killed a fish like that – some of the quotes on that write up in the scum are just pathetic.

              I remember a lad catching a trout out of Coombe Abbey around the 3lb mark… The fact that he was float fishing with a fly rod at the time made it even more bizarre!

              There probably are lots of trout in the Thames. Someone had a scabby hook jawed trout around 7lb out of the Avon near Stratford about five years ago.

              Both those fish went back alive!

              Why this angler would kill it is beyond me unless he’s having it set up?

                Looks a bit sus to me, wonder what he paid for it out of Sainsburys…. :confused:
