We get out for a session on the River Blackwater in Hampshire with Duncan Charman – with time running out to fish the rivers it takes more than the cold to put him off!

There’s also some bankside tips from Keith as he braves miserable conditions to tempt out some winter carp on the feeder at Surrey’s Bury Hill Fisheries.

Keith will also have his weekly look at the prospects for all types of anglers in Fishery Focus – there’ll be advice on conditions and the tactics that are working best at a variety or waters.

Keith will be taking a well-earned break next week so specialist angler Dean Macey will be making a guest appearance in the hot-seat. He’ll be joined in the bothy by International match-angler and former Fish’O’Mania champion Steve Ringer.
