        I’ve recently got rid of 2 pellet waggler rods (1 x Shakespeare and 1 x Preston) ‘coz I can’t get used to short butts. I go to cast out and my left hand automatically drops below where the butt ends, obviously because I’m used to my Longer rods.
        I need suggestions for both feeder and pellet wag rods that are 10 or 11ft and have a normal handle.

          I am toying with the idea of getting some of my tired looking rods modernised and was going to send them to Bob the Rod at Fosters.

          Give him a call and see if he could move the handle ‘up’ a few inches and put some more corks behind.

            If you hadn’t of got rid of them I would of said just carry on using them and ‘train the brain’. Failing that make a rigid slip on sleeve to lengthen the handle abit like a butt sleeve on a shotgun stock.

              the higher end daiwas still have full length handles on them….a, fairly sure the theory do which are in the preston price bracket….also the tournys, the airitys and the new connys too. The theorys seem nice rods when I have had a waggle, and there’s a 10/11 bomb/feeder and 11 and 12 pellet rods….might be just what you need.
