Yes, the bait wizard uses Marukyu’s pro team to advise what should be used when. It is worth a look and a read underneath the bait recommendations.

On another note, I spoke with Roy Marlow, Marukyu’s development director this morning asking what their field testers and pro team were catching on, now the weather has turned a bit.

He advised caution on the basis the water is still cold. The fish are still shoaled up and therefore choosing the right swin is critical.

Interestingly, he advised 2 baits which their team were successful on over the weekend

1. Nori Based Marukyu groundbait and Nori based Marukyu pellets
2. Krill – with maggots the powder Krill, corn and hemp liquid krill (SFA450)

He advised staying away from the Protein rich baits for the time being.
