        Hi chaps, booked into a couple of festivals at WA this year 😀 😀 😀 So are maggots/caster/worms of a good quality available at the tackle shop, do they run out during festivals or is it just easier to bring with you :confused: :confused: :confused:

          hi mate, i just got back last weekend, the maggots are a little on the small side than what im used to! the casters were fine! i usually take my own but if forgot them!
          again worms are good! if your fishing a festivel you can pre book your bait (you should of got a order form through?) or give em a ring!

            quality is generally much better festival week due to the turnover. that said I tend to take my own casters as they can last a week no problem in bin bags etc. and I can get a good price near home. maggots I get at WA; worms I take my own as only pay £10.80 a kilo.
            Re amounts – that depends on your approach and where u draw – I’m on the dynamite and milo and will have 10 pints caster per week (friends bringing some fresh down for week two) and 3 kilos of worms for the fortnight.
