        What is the knack to feeding 8mm pellets on a shortish, 8m pole line by hand? Its too short for a catty, and it goes all over the place by hand, a pole pot is no good as the loose feed has to be little and often.
        Whats the technique by hand?

          Its sort of like how you would throw a frisbee out of the back of your hand. Its more of a flick rather than a throw.

            I am luck that I have a Cobra Maggot throwing stick which I bought 20 years ago
            If you have a short piece of old pole you can make one yourself

              I think the problem is that im not used to feeding with my left hand. Sounds daft I now.lol

                pratice practice and then practice is the key ive been fishing casters at 6mtrs all winter on a winter league and has refined it closer to the float each match(not used to doing at all!!) im sure 8mm pellet at 8mtrs is quite easy by hand after a few goes …just keep at it!!!
