      TF_MICK THE BOOKIE

Had a word with our John over the fence yesterday, and he confirmed that he has got permission to dig out a lake on extra land he has purchased by his new house.
John started work on his new house in the grounds of his lovely old house about 9 months ago.He managed to buy up a large chunk of land surrounding the area, and after pulling down the 2 houses where his mother and mother-in law were living it opened up a very attractive landscape for his very exciting new plans for the future.
He has ploughed alot of money into his plans, and it is common knowledge that the man has invested considerable ammounts in his vision for his and his families future. So apart from the horse stables for his wifes horses, which she adores,John will be making the lake for his other great passion….Fishing.
John and other Chelsea players love their fishing, and some of them have visited Willinghurst on many occassions in the past.Arjen Robben that great player who Chelsea should have never let go was a “angling fanatic”,and still fishes at every oppurtunity whenever he is in this Country.I hope John puts about 10 pegs on his new dream water, and that maybe he not only lets his team mates fish it,but maybe a few of his old Willinghurst chums share it now and then, and perhaps even have matches on it……That is,if John can afford the pools and bait bill….lol.
If he doesnt invite me i will be jumping the fence when he is away playing and testing the water for myself…….OR……putting the 16 mtr pole over with Red Hydro and dragging the Carp over the hedge……only joking mate…calm down.
I will keep you posted on its progress…HAVE A NICE DAY NOW. :p :p :p :p :p

Mick, maybe you could offer your “services” as an angling tutor to the overpaid primadonnas? £300 an hour sounds about right! 😉

Now come on chaps….We`ve all done things we have regretted.I dare say some of you out there have coveted other pals wives, and have even had your wicked way with some of them….I know i bloody have….I am not proud of it,and my own wives werent to happy with my wandering eye…but all in all my pals remained close, and the women in question even closer.I think its human nature and one of the great joys in life, that we as Men can at least look.
As a parent i know my children often gringe at the way their Dad acts sometimes, but i know that they will always be there for me if and when the shite hits the fan….And so does John……We cant change our parents and the way they behave sometimes, and nor should we.
We all make big mistakes in our short stay on this planet, and others will that follow us.
Yes..our John has lost that yard of pace, and he is getting older and picking up those little knocks and injuries, but he still has the talent and experience to do a job for his club, and maybe others in the lower leagues in his twighlight years. What i do know is,he is a very articulate, kind and generous man,who is admired by many. Those who have met him at the school gates where his twins are going speak very highly of him,and like me find him to be a shy amiable man.
Before his latest spat with the F.A and his media crucifiction,i felt he had a great future in football as a pundit and other activities, but i guess after the whole mess has run its course our John might struggle to remain in the game he has given so much too and loves…I for one truly hope he comes through only slightly scathed.
I ONLY WISH THAT J.T PLAYED FOR THE ARSENAL.He was a great player in his day.
