        I’ve had a Whisker for a few years and have no real reason to change it, I’ve got 3 power top kits which are almost unused and want to swap/sell for match kits,
        Question: Daiwa advertise Match top 2 kits and top 3 kits, as i always remove my No.1’s i’m thinking of just buying the much cheaper top 2’s, but am dubious! what’s the difference? if i buy these will they be the same quality and length as my original top 3 match kits which have the no.1 removed?
        any help appreciated

          the match top two is not a number 2 and number 3, it is only a number 1 and number 2 only so you would have to buy number 3’s as well

            Hi mate – I’ve recently invested in some top kits myself and had similar questions – I emailed Daiwa and they got back to me so I reccomend emailing them – the email below was the lady who emailed me back

              desperately been trying to swap CTK5 power tops for match kits but seems nobody wants them!

                Nick,

                I think that I have 3 unused T3MKs that have the number 1 cut back so that the length is the same as a CTK5/10. If you are interested in a swap then I will check tonight when I get home whether I do indeed have 3, I definately have 2.

                  i always remove the number 1 section anyway so not bothered if it’s cut back as long as the number 2 and 3 are there, are they originals or generic top kits? (actually not sure what the difference is between the match top 3’s you get when you buy the pole and the generic top kits you can buy?) let me know see what we can do, 2 would be fine i have no problem with that, where abouts are you?

                        Hi Nick,

                        I am based in Wiltshire on the M4 corridor. I do have 2 unused T3MKs so if you wish to do a swap then hopefully we can come to some sort of arrangement.
