it must have been the marku stuff the match boys could use whilst the carp boys were only allowed cheep baits 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Funnily enough the carp boys said that they would have won if bream didn’t count! At my local lake there is a red coloured Koi that was caught last weekend at around 24lb. The carper complained that it was a koi not a proper carp. You cannot believe some people can you? He would have been happier lying there in his bedchair and bivvy all weekend getting drunk
and not catching anything.

Proves nothing as far as i am concerned on a skill level of who is better.each branch of the sport has learnt new methods and tactics from each other,and continues to do so.and each branch has it own methods unique to them as well.and using whatever brand of bait,wether marukyu or something else,did not play a major part of the winning.it was species caught.and if it was carp only counting,it can go either way.and the carp boys have beaten the match boys before in the past as well as the other way around.
