        There were two three-day festivals held on Inniscarra Lake last week hosted by O’Callaghan’s Bar in Coachford and the results were:-
        Ottewill Trophy 21 fished.
        Overall.
        1st. Charlie Greaves, Lietrim. 49 kgs 900gms.
        2nd. Shane Dunne, Roscommon, 49-200.
        3rd. Rory Dunne, Roscommon. 45-900.
        4th. Trevor Platt, UK. 40-700.
        5th. Ricky Grover, UK. 40-200.
        Daily winners.
        Day 1. Charlie Greaves. 22-800.
        Day 2. Shane Dunne. 17-900.
        Day 3. Steve Thorpe, UK. 24-100.
        Daily weights.
        Day 1. 225-750.
        Day 2. 204-000.
        Day 3. 253-400.
        Total weight. 683-150.
        Prize money was €2100-00.

        The second event was:-
        O’Callaghan’s Open. 19 fished
        Overall.
        1st. Charlie Greaves. 67-400.
        2nd. Ricky Grover, UK. 65-300.
        3rd. Tommy Lawton, Fermoy. 52-500.
        4th. Steve Thorpe, UK. 49-600.
        5th. Dave Carter, UK. 46-300.

        Daily winners.
        Day1. Charlie Greaves 19-000.
        Day 2. Ricky Grover. 29-400.
        Day 3. Kevin Gray, UK. 27-100.

        Daily weights.
        Day 1. 226-100.
        Day 2. 277-500
        Day 3. 239-700
        Total weight 743-300
        Prize money was €2580 which included €500 sponsorship from O’Callaghan’s Bar.
        The fishing on both events was good with lots of roach on the pole and whip and plenty of skimmers on the feeder.
