olympic football is not looked up on with any great respect in this country. i presume that is because we have not had a team before – technical reasons have been responsible.
some teams are not allowing some players to compete. the law is on the side of the managers.
i would expect that refusal is for selfish reasons with the new season just around the corner from the olympics. but isn’t this totally opposite the the olympic ideal and what it stands for?
shouldn’t such clubs be penalised for un-fair play? say a deduction of 10 points as they are for going into administration presumed for overspending.
what are your thoughts on the subject? :confused:
