        Overview
With the weather warming arriving this week the prospects improved and anglers have been catching well on the imitation patterns.Good hatches of hawthorn flies and now the occasional adult damsel have brought fish up into the water and they have been feeding well on these flies in the early part of the day. However in the afternoons anglers haved had to scale down in hook sizes and at times fish dries to tempt the fish.
Boat anglers have again had the best action and numbers although those that have fished from the bank have tempted rainbows to 21/2 to 3lb with the odd brown up to 5lb.
Season ticket holders Phil and Gene Robinson again scored well from the boat with 36 fish to 31/2lb all being safely returned.Messrs Kitchener,Quartly,Silver also having good catches from the boat over the past week.Black&Olive Buzzers,Hares Ear,Hoppers and Diawl Bach being the successful patterns.

82 anglers caught 316 rainbows and 7 browns with 190 rainbows and 7 browns returned safely.
