Why so long

  Have just elasticated some top kits for a mate i think the pole is a diawa sr2 these top kits are huge even with no1 removed they must be 2.75 metres long and with the no1 removed Lanes tackle says there is not an internal bush made that fits .this means even with solid elastic if you use pulla kits you need 1 pack of elastic per top kit why do they make them so long .is it just to make the pole near its stated length or am i just being pickey.anyone come accross extra large internal bushes?

  Just measured my MAP TKS top kits. Power top 2 measures 2.70m . Do you mean each section measures 2.75m?
  You’ll have to use external bushes, which are better IMO
