TF_sennapodAfter the debate Mr fishingbaits created about a month ago, I’ve ordered quite a bit of stuff from their site. The next day delivery is bang on the money. I have caught on Krilled maggots around the time of the debate. However this month has been a bit hit and miss for me. I’ve had a crack at Got Baits and Dynamite baits as well. Anyway I started having a look at the fishing bait guides on the fishingbaitsbiz site as well as the bait wizard. I haven’t bought everything from the bait wizard, but have taken the advice and chosen my own stuff. Again, hit and miss.
Anyway today, call it what you will I had a day off work after hitting nights for 2 weeks and the Marukyu Baits made the day on Dunscar. The main baits I used were EFG120, EFG131 groundbaits, JPZ’s 6mm were awesome and the Krilled maggots which I have used before worked well. I did use Tesco Corn as well, but the JPZ was bait that made my day.
Take it as you want, I’ve no doubt many of you match guys will tell me the change in weather / air pressure had an effect, which I’m sure it did, but for me today Marukyu and the advice from the fishingbaits.biz web site I felt helped quite a lot. There is an article in the Anglers Mail about liquid Krill on pellets in think its SFA450 which I do want to try when I get time off work.
I’ll be fishing matches before you know it J. They could sponsor me if I knew how to fish better than I can!!!!!!

TF_FishingbaitsThanks Sennapod.
If you are ever struggling, we don’t have a magic wand but if there is anything specific with regard to the bait, we can go to the Marukyu research team and Marukyu pro team to ask.
Unfortunately, we don’t sponsor, although Marukyu do, but with no disrespect, they do expect a certain standard. I sure if you met this they’d consider it.
Hope your post doesn’t start a huge debate again, but thanks for your praise and good luck with the rest of the week as this good weather starts to pick up for once.

TF_JohnHA good news story well done!!
Good to see the money raised in the recent TF festival with Roy donating pegging fees. Too many are quick to ctiticise often ignoring what is put back.
I know other tackle/ bait companies do their bit too. -

Roy’s connection with the event is purely as the fishery owner and he has always donated the pegging fees for the chosen charities from day 1 of the event some years back for which all who take part are eternally grateful !
Just in case there was any misconception 😉

TF_JohnHI realise Roy has nothing to do with TF, it is very kind of him to donate his fishery for the event. I am a fully paid up member and I cant fish it until June 1st.
The Marukyu connection is that Roy is seen by some posters as a money grabber selling high price bait. If he had charged the correct pegging fees he could have pocketed a grand. -

TF_GavinIt was 2003 the first TF day at the Glebe (a one day event – the following year it became two)
I’d imagine Marukyu wasn’t even a twinkle in Roy’s eye then 😀 -

TF_Fred DavisQuite right Steve R, Roy has always donated the peg fees for the TF club competition to assist the TF to raise even more funds for it’s chosen charity, Roy is a thoughroughly good egg always willing to help with advice given and is very approachable a real star, I for one will always remember fishing the first TF festival and again when it became a two day event and hopefully time willing I would like to fish it again one day as the fishery run/owned by Roy is superb, however back to the origenal post the fishingbaits site is top drawer and if I required a bulk purchase of maruku products thats where I would order mine from, glad to hear the service was as good as the site, one things for sure you will be fishing with an excellant product that of which I am sure.
