          Try “janos” on this site.

He is from Slovakia and is well used to that style of fishing. He has a few contacts in Italy and Eastern Europe for that kind of kit at the right price.

You might want to have a look at these – bought one at Evesham last year and is half decent for what I want it for

From what I have heard it’s a new addition to the Super Ultegra range – I’ll try and find out a bit more for you….

Nothing online about it yet. All I know is that it’s part of an 11 strong range of new Super Ultegras which presumably had input from Scotthorne before he moved on. There are 13ft, 14ft and 15/17ft rods plus the bolo rod mentioned that’s 20ft. There are also three feeder rods and three multi feeder rods at 10/11ft, 11/12ft and 12/13ft plus a 6m whip. I think the RRP starting price for this range is £129.99 but I don’t know the RRP of the bolo rod. There’s also a 15/17ft float rod in a new (more expensive) Aspire range of rods. Give em a call and find out when they are out 0330 333 4888.

You could try ordering one directly in Italy at http://www.pianetapesca.it – I would stick to one of the italian brands like tubertini, colmic, trabucco etc.

I have 2 in 6 and 7 meters, and it’s probably the 6m that gets the most use, but 7m is good when fishing 5m+ deep rivers. It’s a very nice method, but it is limited to venues where match rods are too short to fish a fixed rig.

Staying on the Italy theme, kind, Daiwa don’t do them in the UK any more but they do in Italy through their distributor there (Fassa).

Look at the sensas ones matey, they come in two different lengths, 5 and 6 meters and have a silver fish or big fish version, theyre great and only around £150.00
