        anyone using this pole,whats it like please.mate has a maver 371 and was wondering if it would be much off a upgrade purchasing one off these.thanks.

          hi mate,
          i also have a 371, good old stick but have had a waggle with a match this 6 and would say a definite improvement. i would love to upgrade but would spend the few quid extra and go either elite 66 or 88 as they are unbelievable to use, a tackle shop did reckon that the mt6 is stronger than the elites but then all the top maver boys go for the elite and they catch a few munters from time to time…….
          can’t move away from maver tho as i have a shed load of spares….

            my mate has the maver elite 88 and he has had quite a few breakages he is even thinking about getting his old spectron out of the closet to re use, mind you he had a few breakages with that pole as well :rolleyes:

              thanks for that lads,hes been pleased with 371, but not seen many match this 6 on bank, or shops to try.

                Have a 501 (2 actually)

                It is as strong as an ox and much stronger than the 401 and 371.
                Mate has a MT6 and he is heavy handed and he thinks its a belter.
