        Nice blend of youngsters and a manager with sound technical and tactical knowledge everything looks good for England to have a successful run at the European championship, for me Oxlade-Chamberlain is going to be the star of the tournament,.for the first time for years I feel optimistic about Englands chances.

          I admire your optimism Gary but I just can’t see it. It’s one thing coming on for 10-20 minutes and looking good for arsenal but to say he’ll be the star of the tournament is above him. There’s no easy games for us anymore. We’ll continue to sow what we reap in the premier league, letting the foreign players do the fancy stuff while we do the donkey work.

              Hodgson has picked a squad full of players that have had average seasons at best for their clubs

                  Cant see us going all the way…well thats unless Sid who drives england team coach… Can some how manage to wangle parking his motor across our six yard box 😮

                  Can remember seeing us lift word cup in 66… Was a nipper then 😎

                  Hope im wrong..but cant see us getting close to delivering good s against euorope……never mind rest of world. 😮

                        So much mediocrity it’s unreal. Not one of the England squad would get in the Spanish side. Imagine Spain serving up that drivel? there’d be another revolution.

                          I have not seen anything yet that would worry England, the Dutch have a dodgy defence, the Germans did not look dangerous up front even though they created plenty of chances and when the Portugese decided to have a go they looked the better team, as for the other games very average. It will be interesting to see the Italians today hope we can avoid them before the final.
                          MINIMEAT, you are right but who would want to play in a team of midgets, only Defoe qualifies.
