I fished there last September and they were banned then, So I dont think it’s a new rule.

all my top kits are on pullers, looks like being a rod match for me.can you use the top kits with the puller in but not use the puller

down there for three days soon and really looking forward to it but I guess I will just put a bit of tape over the puller so can not be used 🙁

hi im a regular decoy boy and you can have puller topkits on your pole but you must get hold of the puller at all, the use of pullers are not allowed, ive got puller topkits that i fish with but dont use the puller at decoy, they are used when im at other venues cheers

Well to me it isnt ‘a ban’ because in all of the 20 years that ive fished at decoy weve used elastics traditionally installed and therefore what we havent had isnt missed and if everyones in the same boat in the match then it makes for a fairer match, whatever size of fish you hook will eventually rise to the landing net it just takes a bit longer to get em to it so i aint really bothered whether its allowed or not, if a fishery owner dont want them used then the customers should obide by it, after all it is the greatest fishery on the planet 😀

Usual reply to posts about fishery rules :-
If you don’t like the rules don’t go! It is useful to the owners to let them know why you aren’t going though, maybe if enough people did that some of these ‘fishery rules’ would be done away with.
