The first Barby Banks Evening Match of the season got off to a flying start with two ton-up catches! First place went to Jon Arthur (Pole Fishing) with a fantastic 150lb 8oz total. That consisted of 36 carp to 12lb on pellets and meat across at 13 metres plus a few down the edge on worm and maggot over groundbait.
Just a couple of fish short was Joe Carass (Match Fishing) who fished meat and pellets across and down the edge for his 136lb 5oz total.

The matches at the popular venue near Rugby, Warwickshire, will run every Wednesday evening. Draw at 5.15pm in the Marshes car park with fishing from 6.15pm to 9.15pm. To book on, ring Tom Scholey on 07971 620489.
