Just fished the open today and was on pine 67 fished very hard had 36lb mainly on pellet method 43lb was best on lake.when it fishes well its great but the problem with pine is that its carp or nothing theres nothing else to target like the other lakes.i caught a few at 14.5mt dead depth on meat as well also try coming a few inches off the deck

Fish across on expanders or meat toss potting a few micros in every put in. If you have an empty peg youll catch carp under it a better stamp (averaging 3lb ish). The end peg will be a flier 20, 21, 22 where ever you end it that peg should win. 1 is a good peg for the margins and you can sometimes catch shallow on pegs two an three. pegs 5-10 are 14.5m wide then they widen up if you fish long pole 16-19m and reach the far bank on the wide pegs you will bag up tight across.

We had a club match there yesterday…either end(1 or 21 & 22 fine but then not good…
Fish pellet and feed little..unless u r at the end ;pegs then u can dowoteva cos its solid…lol
