Firstly well done to all those that made the main frame some very good weights especially in the conditions, special congrats to the winner and commiserations to the runner up and main framers.
A great event many thanks to garbolino and the match fishing team, as for my day the wind was horrendous and I definately fished it all wrong however, I learn’t a lot about the fishery and hopefully will fish it better if I go there again, having said that I won a very tight section by default, I had 33lb and 4th in section was 29lb, had some great company either side , thanks to Clive on the next peg for the quid 😉 and for his unused pellet a true gent and good banter during the match and after, also the lad from devon on my left as well as the good company of william raymond B who drove me up and booked our lodgings etc as for the lad who said I should purchase a korum starter kit having seen your result I suggest you invest in some korum gear yourself and give your Gmax M1 to me as it appears to be a wasted bit of kit, :p no great banter and it was nice to pick up section money again 3 times out of four finals can’t be bad if only i could main frame DOH
also great to see the garbo team out in force giving us tips on how to catch a few more pounds Steve Cooke giving me some very sound advice on fishing the pellet feeder and method and how to do it right
Chatting to Jon Arthur he said they call the fishery windholme because it allways blows on the fishery as he said look around the landscape is as flat as a pancake with no windbreaks,
Great day great event, stacks of friendly banter by a great crowd. thankfully we have one tackle company who puts on a great event for all club anglers.
