        I am after a short range bomb/feeder rod that is capable of chucking a medium method feeder maybe 25yds – I currently have a Fox fx 10-11′ that is very good but I would like another to go with it so I can have a pellet feeder set up also. Price upto around £150 – so what do you lads use ?? what are the new Matrix rods like ??

              ive had a 10ft preston mini for a few years use it for most of my commercial feeder/lead fishing (use the 9ft f1 mini for really short chucks and f1s) when something new comes out i often find myself wanting one but with regards to a general feeder rod for commercials i know its not worth changing.

                Why not just buy another Fox 10-11, which is a great rod! I’ve seen them going from £100 on Ebay.

                          Super G 10ft Bomb rod or Shimano 9-11 Beastmaster, which I have two of.

                            Cheers lads, I have managed to find one of the original Beastmasters with the 3 full length tips at a very good price so think I will go with that.

                              you,ll love it craig . i have 2 x ax ones as you found. best rod ive had no doubt and ive had tournie pro 10/11 and super g 10ft. they seem almost two soft when ya first use it but theyre fantastic in every department. 😉 😉
