  DAVE PETCH QUORN ANGLING BREAKS THE LOUGHBOROUGH CANAL RECORD and makes it two wins on the trot
  61lb 11oz of bream and skimmers
  one of the best catches I’ve witnest 10 to 20lb of skimmers from 4oz to 10oz then the rest made up of 1lb to 4lb bream

  rich its funny if we could get on the river we’d have big weights of bream i’m sure ,yet the whole of the canal is full of bottle tops bream and roach .i am now wondering whether angling pressure in the past had taken its toll ,now most matches are 20 to 30 pegs 🙁 the local anglers really don’t know what they have on there door step 😉 😉 two very good natural venues
  i hope to be running a league its only over the month of september before the winter league
  teams of six anglers three fish the river and three fish the canal short walks no fences to climb over .
  and if thats a succsess i might do a two day-er one canal one river 😉
