          freeze them then take out on day and put in lake water when get there.

            agree with silly have been told its better to freeze them in tub not to many at a time but i have always frozen them in a bag and not had any probs but in my experience must be at least for 3 days or some of the little bliters will start wrigling again 🙂 🙂

              Put 1/2 pint of maggots in a 2 pint bait tub, cover in cold water, then slowly add boiling water stirring with your finger. When its to hot to keep your finger they should been dead and have retained there shape and colour.Bag em and put em in the fridge.

              If they stretch or turn white, you are adding to much hot water too quickly.

                the venue I’ll be at in Sept for a week has no freezer and we’ll be picking bait up there so boiling water it is then 🙂

                    Freezer for 3 days.

                    If you can take the air out of the bag, they come out all soft.

                      fo hookers roll em……….. roughly take a dozen grubs and place inbetween palms of yer hands n vigorously rub around until you think you’ve burst em!!!
                      Result…lovely n soft…oh! n dead 😮
