Just wondered with the freak change in the weather a good thread might be what you were catching, what techniques you found were working and what baits you are finding fishing best.

Last sunday we had the change from low pressure to high pressure so expected carp to be a bit iffy on the road lake but we managed a few fish John Brennan won the match on the method using dynamite green swim groundbait mixed with micro’s and a variety of branded dumbell hookers, Roger was second with 115lb and I managed to scrape 3rd from the wrong end of the lake with 87lb using sonubaits F1 groundbait 50/50 with micro pellets and sonubaits dumbell hookers started on the strawberry but switched to the f1 dumbell. John Pope was next peg to me and came up and showed me some maruku red jelly like pellets (jpz) in 10mm  I don’t know what John did but he only had one carp and a few silvers with I think 15lb weighed however it might just have been a bit barren as I said we were at the wrong end of the lake. To be fair to maruku John also had some sonubaits pineapple dumbells but couldn’t catch.
