  Has anybody had hold of one of these.im looking for a genuine roach river rod that can go down to 0.8 hook length.i want to order one but cannot find one to have a waggle.does anybody know if it has a forgiving action?

  Have got the spectron version and use that with .08 hook lengths with no problem.
  It’s a better rod at 17 than at 20 in my opinion but still well useable at the longer length.

  Where are you based? I have a 17/20 connoisseur z mk 2 which I would be willing to part with, just don’t get out on the rivers anymore!. I’m in Rotherham and your more than welcome to have a waggle. As said fishable at 17 but wouldn’t like to fish it at 20 all day!
