        Anyone know a contact telephone number or addy to order spare parts just checking my gear over for Stafford moor checking the clutch on my spro red arc and tighted it up a click heard another click and it just spins now won’t even tighten on the main shaft and falls off if I tip the reel, obviously gone home, need to order a new clutch knob maybe a new shaft although the shaft looks reasonable. love the reel so worth getting new parts 🙂

            Hi Fred

            Have you got another red arc? if so try changing the knobs. I know this sound a bit stupid but i had the same problem. changed the knobs around and both reels worked!

            dont ask me why just did. so worth a try.

              Cheers alibongo I only have the one red arc doh, I’m Stuffed as I have heard the chap that deals with the reels is out of the country in the states, however it is weird that this fault even occurs I have never had it happen to any other of my front drag reels maybe a fault as it has obviously happened to your reel as well, having said that my dealings with spro have always been second to none the service they have provided in the past has been excellant and I dare say Spro will get it sorted to my satisfaction.

                fred long time , good choice of reel unfortunately my red arc is being towed around a carp lake with a preston 10 foot preston bomb rod very bad piece of angling lol was told they were exspecting a delivery of reels very shortly so im hanging on waiting to buy a couple this time lets hope im not waiting too long, ille pm you tonys : number but dont pass it around till i get my pair cheers 😉 😉

                    Fred , PTB the red arc is still been made and distributed in the UK. I am the Northern Rep for Stewarts Angling Services who now have the distribution rights. I have only just started in the job however the Red Arc is still a good seller and I can see why you like them. If you have any issues dont hesitate to PM please and i will try and help 🙂

                      No issues, I am glad to say the problems I had with my reel was sorted by spro who replaced the spool knob which did the job, let me also add that the service and dialogue I have received from spro has been superb even when there rep in the south of england retired the chaps in holland stepped in, it is one of my favourite reels that is always in use and set up on a 10ft bomb rod superb bit of kit, great bit of kit but aftercare unequalled imo
