Browning force 8′ wand. I got mine about a year ago and think I paid about 40 quid. Sold my 10′ Carbonactive last month as i havent used it since i got the wand ! Its a brilliant rod and ive had some big weights on it. Fred Davis has posted something abot these browning rods already and hes bang on , £40 and its prob the best rod ive ever had. I’ve got the matching 9′ pellet waggler aswell. Only used it a couple of times so far but I reckon my 2 other Carbonactives will be on ebay soon.

Couldn’t really find much else, so gone for the browning.
Have to get a reel for it now and im a bit of a daiwa tart when it comes to reels so looks like the old wallet is going to take a hit 😀
            Thanks for the recommendation.

Rod arrived today and what can i say…wow. Pencil thin, sweet action, decent fittings and guides. How they do this range for the money is beyond me but who cares, they do!!
I’ll give it a thorough workout next week at my local and report back in case anybody is interested.

I suspect they are, I have a garbolino 10′ rocket carp for the pellet wag and for £25.00 quid its the best rod i have owned (for the money), yesterday i had 41 carp on it pushing 5-6lb and on average 2-3lb.
                  It never flinched.

I don’t see the point of mid priced rods nowadays, top end yes i can understand especially if your using them constantly, but its budget all the way for me.

Just need daiwa to do a budget reel now, ha ha. 😀
