Was there for a 3 day match at the beginning of august, on friday pegs 80-100, best weight 102lb. Saturday pegs 80-100, best weight 190lb and on the Sunday pegs 42-62, best weight 88lb. Most lads only gave it 2 hours on the Sunday before packing up dissapointed. We had heavy thundery showers all 3 days that probably didnt help and the water level was 4’0″ up on last year when we recorded the best weight of 501lb with 3rd place weighing 304lb.
The organiser was looking at booking another match soon but there is very little interest, hope things pick up for middle of October.
          Good Luck.

Small turn out today and we fished pegs 76 to 94….. Started at 11.45 and fished till 6 so 15 minutes more than usual……I won the match with 58 carp for 458lb 8oz on peg 91 all on pellet waggler(lost 11)only had a twenty minute spell mid way through match with no bites so plenty of fish about….Second was peg 80 with 354lb which was 47 fish on pellet waggler……Third was peg 89 with 274lb some on waggler some on bomb and some big fish late on, on the pole down the edge on paste…..Only 2 people weighed in less than 200lb so it fished very well with most fish on waggler……Water levels still good so petrfect for waggler….Hope this helps

Feeding 11mm pellets and fishing 8mm on the hook…catching at around 30 yards and switching between 3 and 4 feet…It was a case of cast then feed ,twitch then feed again, twitch again then feed then re cast…float wasnt in water for more tahn 30 seconds so very busy
