These new sets of clothing are described as highly waterproof in all but the worst conditions, anyone own them and what are their opinions.

          That description is nonsense IMO.
“Highly waterproof in all but the worst conditions”

Surely that means it’s not waterproof & you’ll get wet if it P****s down!
          Get something that is waterproof!
Protak is my choice & that of many others, quality product & affordable.

I have the Sensas gear, I replaced the goretex versions of a couple of years ago with it and ive never been happier. Loads of tiny details and it keeps me warm and dry and ive fished in monsoon like conditions!!! Or if i just wear the bib and brace over a t-shirt and shorts it keeps me cool too. I cant fault it!

I had the Greenland set…… top of Sensas range B4 Gore-tex.

Look nice, very warm – too warm most of year. The Bib & Brace leaked like a sieve, around the crutch, back side & legs…… my local Tackle Shop / Sensas replaced them due to the fault, second set even worse!!!

Given full refund from Tackle Shop / Sensas!!!!

I love Sensas gear BUT i would not touch the above…….. or anything else but Gore-tex or Protak!!!

Living up here in the lake district where we get a little inclement weather now and again I am another Protak fan. Used old set at least once a week for over 10yrs and cannot fault it.

On second set now and well pleased, old set is still waterproof, however I have aquasealed the crotch as the stitching wore and needed re doing.

Removed the quilt lining from old B&B and used these as summer only.

HH are good but there cannot be better value for money than Protak TR
