Pole Fishing’ magazine has nothing but pole fishing articles in it, a lot of which are about commercial carp fishing. ‘Match Fishing’ on the other hand has more variation and covers all types of coarse fishing, feeder fishing, waggler fishing and of course pole fishing. From memory, it is a long time since I read an article about the stick float. Match fishing is a little more expensive per month, a few pennies more, but is thicker, has more articles and loads more adverts. If I had to choose one it would be ‘Match Fishing’ but if you only pole fish and mostly for carp then I would go for Pole fishing.

As to Improve your Coarse Fishing it is a long time since I read one but there used to be little match fishing in it mostly specimen and a fair bit of stuff for beginners. It is a thick magazine though with plenty of advertisements and makes a reasonable read if all types of fishing appeal to you.
