The Angling Trust has announce the dates and venues for the National Championships for Coarse Angling 2013 – and has included a new event – the National Stillwaters Championships at Lindholme lakes, Hallcroft Fishery and Hayfield lakes, which is open to all Division 1 and Division Two teams.
In doing so they have responded to concerns from anglers about putting the Division Two National 2013 onto a commercial fishery for the first time, and instead it will be held on the Great Ouse in early August, with the Division One National 2103 booked for the Trent and Mersey Canal on a date yet to be confirmed…
The Cadets, Juniors & Intermediates National Championship will take place at Tunnel Barn Farm Fishery on June 29th, 2013.
The Ladies National Championship will be fished at Colemans Cottage Fishery, Witham, Essex on June 8th, 2013, with the Veterans National Championship booked at Monk Lakes Fishery, Marden, Kent on Wednesday 7th August 2013 .
Dates and venues have yet to be confirmed for the Individual National Championship 2013, the Anglers with Disabilities National Championship 2013, t eh Schools National Championship 2013 and the Preston Innovations Club Classic 2013.

Well them Southerners don’t seem to have a use for it at the moment do they, apart from last years one exception,

I suppose they could divert the Thames into it and make that a still water, solves a few problems, it could host the Fisho as well, great for spectators, meanwhile London remains divorced from the rest of us !!
