Ive been given an 11 ft carbon float rod with a couple of damaged rings, its quite an old rod but has a nice medium to through action and I wish to strip it down and re ring the whole rod, sort of a winter project.I have had a go at whipping before years ago and im alright at it but I would appreciate peoples input on this subject of building a rod no matter how much people know I need to know how to rub the rod down what paper etc, do I treat the rod in preparation before I put the rings on, where to get economically priced Fuji rings from and how many rings I should put on the rod, basically any help with my project would be appreciated.Regards Anthony
