Try the Sensas Abbeville or laetitia – the last one has a thicker wire stem and double bristle

Yes, or you could also look at the guilliame? In the larger sizes. There is not a definitive answer, you will probably be best to have a couple of different types set up. So much depends on the day, wind, no wind, bites on the drop, bites on the bottom etc etc.

Sensas Jean Francoise as brilliant for smaller baits like maggot, caster and bloodworm

Massive array of sizes and very stable

I fish Shatterford lakes and some of the waters are really really deep.
I have a good collection of Sensas floats and they are all top job.
They will do some thing that floats your boat for fishing 12 feet deep.
Fosters in Brum have a good range in stock and in the shop.

use pi magic 6’s – but anything over 12′ plus on a still water and skimmers then you’re looking at hold ups and even lifts for a large proportion of bites- think in those circumstances carbon stemmed floats -like kc carpa porth type are better for this., imo for showing varied drop bites bites rather than stability – since you also have a bit of lead down anyway- nevertheless in less than 12′ or where roach feature as well as skimmers then a wire stem like the pt magic 6 or the similar if fatter bodied jean francoise, – just my personal ‘reasoning,’ you may have equally good reason equally for disagreeing.
Equally, i’m not sure that fish-even bream actually feed on deck unless for shorter periods because of that increased depth, and like carp -finding the approximate few or even varied feet depth they are sitting at is the hardest part even if you’re still dropping thru’ that.
