I have never even wished to see the ‘X’ Factor yet alone watched it, but the answer to your question, is NO. Essex was the County of my birth and most people in Essex are the same as people everywhere else. You get a total mix from your cor blimeys to your upper crust with most in between. No one normal would appear on the X Factor.

lived in yorkshire tens years ago and thought that the younger lads sounded abit effiminate , back in essex now and i think its more a bad fashion thing, saw a teenager walking about in town today wearing a t-shirt skinny jeans 6 ” above the ankle and a giant baseball cap – it was raining and about 9 degrees
