29p bottle of red food dye off cake/cookery department from Tesco – works really good.
Alternatively, if you have a good Asian food store by you, they sell powdered food colourings – but be careful. You can get green, yellow and red and all of them would dye a can of sweetcorn whilst it was still in the can – i’m not joking, it really is strong. Just the end of a teaspoon put into a bag with the sweetcorn is more than enough.
When it first goes in you will think that it aint enough, but give it half an hour and a few shakes and it will be really coloured. The yellow even works on yellow sweetcorn!
Buy seperate spray flavorings if that is what you want to do and add a couple of squirts after it is dyed.
Forgot to say, drain all the excess water before you dye it.
Dont scratch your nose either after you have used it!
