I had one a few years ago – how well it performs will also depend on how much use its had as all poles get softer with use.

i had no problems carp fishing with mine and it stood comparison with the best available at the time though there have being improvements since then especially notable when fishing at 16m – these poles were made a LONG time ago (10-11 years).

Standard Daiwa mandrel so will be ok to get spares to fit which is a big plus point.

A great pole at the time, but like Rhino says, depends on how much use its had over the 10 years or so since they llast made them… I can imagine its pretty worn, even if its been looked after…
