Fisho has become a joke, good luck to the people that get tickets. Match this will take over in the next 2 year’s,

Lve applied every year for tickets, last year i applied for 8 and got none! Thats it for me, im not applying no more, For an organisation to MAKE you pay a membership fee of £25 for something that i wouldnt join anyway and then not get any qualifiers is robbery, i HATE compulsory dictatorship!!!!! Bring on MAVERMATCHTHIS where you are given a ticket on paying, thats where my loyalty lies from here on in!!!! Happydaysarehereagain, hope the sun comes out soon 😎

What I do not understand is why these tickets are in such demand and then so many do not turn up to fish!!
I know you can be put on standby and turn up on the day hoping you might get in but if travel is involved not many will want to bother. The result is many matches are not filled despite tickets not being available???
I would have thought someone could have evolved a solution to that, some of the venues have loads of pegs and could easily fit more in if more want to fish. I know some venues cant do that so why use them??
Every year its the same on here, applied for X got none or got them all,from a distant observer something seems to be wrong and I can fully understand why many have given it all up. We do keep seeing the same faces fishing so clearly some know how to get tickets even if it is a lottery.
Maybe one solution is to regionalise it North South East and West and only allow applications for regional matches from local anglers. I suspect the no shows would reduce at least.

The only reason you can get maver tickets is because it’s still in its infancy after 2 years. Just wait a little while until the tickets start to sell out overnight then you’ll be begging for a lottery system, as the vast majority of applicants who work a day job and can’t travel to redditch to hand applications in by hand or spend countless hours on the phone can’t get a ticket.
Still I like the format ATM long may it continue!

I keep getting the error messages too at payment stage, will try again over the weekend!

Just think how good it would be though to get to the final and find that Fordy is commentating in your section!

Agree that Fisho unfair in that some people get guaranteed tickets (can’t understand that one myself?) others apply get 8 or so and then some apply for loads and get none. Maybe if demand that high then they should only allow one ticket per person? or maybe more qualifiers and then run a semi final for winners to narrow down to 16 for final? I applaud maver for running there maver match this competition and giving people the chance to buy there tickets. For the record i never fished any of the competitions last year but i will be fishing at least 2 maver ones this year.

Applied for 5, 2 more clashed with the Milo festival at white acres 🙁 .
I think the way the draw is done is about the fairest way you could do it, last year i applied for 5 and only got 2 but when something is so over subscribed how else could you make it any better??

thats why its hard to get fisho tickets .

people still moan but its getting more popular than ever ,
last year alone there was 170 odd new applicants for tickets

i applied for 12 and only got 3 last year.
call it bad luck i guess, but i still love these matches and have applied for another 12 this year.
