        15 Pegs

A moment of ‘Deja Vous’ occurred at the draw bag this week at Dog lane for two of the regulars as they drew the same pegs two weeks in a row.
For Phil Porter it was to be a dream draw when his drawing arm pulled out peg 34 facing the island. For the other angler, whose name we won’t mention, it was a nightmare returned. Needless to say he reckons he’s not gooing again next week.

Phil from Rugby, fished the method feeder from the off and had a steady run of carp and a few silvers on the pole when the feeder line went quiet for a total winning weight of 45lb 12dr.

Second place this week went to Kevin Folwell of (Bagem Baits) who fished peg 12 near the overflow. Kevin worked between his feeder line near the island and two pole swims at 11m and 4m. His net of Carp and Billies weighed in at 20lb 15oz 8dr, caught on maggot, pinkie and chopped worm. The average size of his perch was 2lb+.

Third best weight came from returning angler Carl Baker (Stourbridge)who fished at peg 31 and weighed in 13lb 15oz of silvers a tidy net no doubt caught on caster and pinkie.

The payouts this week went to Top Two and 3 Sections by default. Those picking up a brown envelope were:

        1st Phil Porter (Rugby)Peg 34 45lb 12dr
        2nd Kev Folwell (Bagem Baits) Peg 12 20lb 15oz 8dr

        Section [A] Carl Baker (Stourbridge)peg 31 13lb 15oz Section Pete Sharpe (Rugby) Peg 4 5lb 11oz 12dr Section [C] Lee Taylor (Bagem Baits)Peg 10 6lb 13oz 4dr

Next weeks Match will be the first of the year on Widgeon Lake. For draw details contact Pete Palmer 07749 225 880.
